Refund Policy

In addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, KCT Direct, operated by Aquatix-2u Ltd, offers a 60-day return policy for unwanted and unused items.

Most online customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods and then have a further 14 days to return them. This does not affect our 60-day goodwill returns policy.

All electrical products carry a 12-month guarantee, or longer if specified by the manufacturer. Any guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights.

If you need to return an item, please contact us first by email, telephone or through our Returns Request Form so we can advise you of the correct return process.

Items returned that are not deemed to be faulty, or where the fault is not covered by the guarantee or your statutory rights, may be subject to return postage costs.

KCT Direct cannot accept responsibility for damage or faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, improper installation, improper maintenance or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. This does not affect your statutory rights, including where goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.

Any item returned to KCT Direct that cannot be identified, is deemed not faulty and requires return postage, or requires parts, service work or a service charge that is not paid by the purchaser, may be treated as uncollected goods. If this remains unresolved for 3 months from the date the item arrives with us, or from the date of our latest advice, whichever is later, we may dispose of the item after taking reasonable steps to contact the owner.

Items exempt from change-of-mind returns

The following items cannot usually be returned for change-of-mind reasons, unless they are faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or we are otherwise required to accept the return by law:

·         Customised items or items made to your specification, for example cut-to-length hose.

·         Perishable items.

·         Food, chemicals or other sealed consumable goods where the seals have been broken and the goods are not suitable for return.
