The barbeque has 3 adjustable air vents (2 at the top, and 1 at the bottom) which makes heat regulation easier and ensures your food is cooked evenly. With the added temperature gauge, you can easily see what temps the food is cooking at. They can help you control the air flow, and how much oxygen you want the fire to receive, and when it is fully closed, it will help to extinguish the flames.
